Their new electric motorbike will focus on city commutes while stressing the importance of clean energy. Its goal is to revolutionize a new way of transportation by creating a bike that is user- friendly, affordable and most importantly, created for all people regardless of stature or gender.
Monday Motorbikes makes electric motorbikes for traveling around cities like San Francisco easy and fun. Their flagship product, the M1, has been called the “Tesla of Electric Motorbikes” by TechCrunch, Huffington Post and others. The M1 has a city speed of 20 mph and top speed of 40 mph for off road use only. With a range of up to 50 miles, their motorbike is powered by two removable lithium ion batteries that can be charged from a standard wall outlet.
A motorcycle license is not necessary, and riders are required to wear a helmet.
Alpine 4’s other subsidiary, ALTIA www.6sa-altia.com, is also in discussions with Monday Motorbikes to deploy ALTIA’s connected car platform, 6th Sense Auto, into their M1 bikes. Integration of the 6SA system into Monday Motorbikes M1 platform will help give cloud based access to all the import functions pertinent to their consumers’ needs such as: GPS, relevant diagnostic information and much more.
